There are many options for getting to and from restaurants, hotels, and events in Boston.

Take the "T"
Operated by MBTA, Boston's Commuter Rail services the outlying Boston suburbs. Service is available from several T stations, but most departures take place at South Station, North Station, or Back Bay Station. Schedules and maps are available on the MBTA website.
Bus service is widely available throughout Massachusetts. All intercity/interstate buses depart from South Station. Schedules and maps are available on the MBTA website.
Several taxi and ride-sharing companies provide services to and from the local airports and the conference hotels and convention center. Ride-sharing companies, such as Uber and Lyft, are known in the area as App Ride/Transportation Network Companies (App Ride/TNCs). Inquire about flat airport rates at the time you make your reservation.
Some fun alternatives to public transportation are available in Boston. Consider using one of these transportation options around town during your stay.
Getting around by water shuttle or water taxi is convenient and enjoyable. Year-round scheduled and on-call vessels provide direct connections to downtown Boston and other popular waterfront destinations in Boston Inner Harbor and Hingham and Hull on the South Shore. Enjoy fantastic views of Boston Harbor and the city from a climate-controlled waiting area.
MBTA Harbor Express: High-speed everyday service connecting Hingham and Hull to Boston's Long Wharf and Logan Airport.
Boston Water Taxi: Boston Harbor Cruises provides year-round service to Boston's entire waterfront and Logan service with connections to several landings in Boston.
Rowes Wharf Water Transport: Serves the entire Boston waterfront and provides direct service between Rowes Wharf and Logan Airport.
